The Vitopod Heated Propagator is designed to provide optimal temperature and humidity control for successful seed germination and healthy root development. Featuring a precise digital thermostat adjustable from 5 degreesC to 30 degreesC, the Vitopod maintains stable growing conditions with accuracy within 1 degreesC, helping growers achieve consistently high propagation success rates.
The evenly heated base ensures consistent warmth across the entire propagator with no hot or cold spots, promoting uniform growth across seed trays, plugs, and pots. By delivering stable heat distribution throughout the rooting area, the Vitopod helps improve germination rates, encourages faster rooting, and supports stronger early plant development.
Large adjustable butterfly vents built into the lid and side panels allow you to carefully manage airflow and humidity without removing the entire lid. This helps maintain stable temperatures while gradually hardening off seedlings and cuttings as they mature. Keeping vents closed during the early stages retains humidity for vulnerable young plants, while opening them over time improves airflow as roots establish.
The modular Vitopod design allows growers to increase the internal height using optional Vitopod Extra Layers. Each additional layer increases the propagator height by 15cm, providing additional space for taller plants, extended propagation periods, or overwintering larger specimens. Multiple layers can be stacked securely, creating a highly adaptable propagation system suitable for year-round growing.
