Digital HPS & CDM Ballast

Digital High Pressure Sodium (HPS) ballasts are electronic devices that control the flow of electricity to HPS lamps, which are used for lighting in various settings such as warehouses, factories, and outdoor spaces. These ballasts use digital technology to adjust the current and voltage supplied to the lamp, ensuring that it operates at optimal levels for maximum efficiency and longevity.

CDM ballasts, also known as Ceramic Metal Halide (CMH) ballasts, are similar to digital HPS ballasts in that they control the flow of electricity to CMH lamps. These lamps are commonly used in horticultural lighting applications due to their high color rendering index and ability to mimic natural sunlight. CDM ballasts help to regulate the intensity and spectrum of the light output from CMH lamps, making them an ideal choice for growing plants indoors.
