Relays, Contactors & Time Switches

Grow room relays are electrical switches that control the power supply to various devices in a grow room, such as lights, fans, pumps, and other electrical equipment. These relays are used to turn these devices on and off at specific times, like temperature control depending on the needs of the plants being grown.

Contactors are similar to relays, but they are designed to handle larger electrical loads and are typically used for controlling motors, pumps, and other heavy-duty equipment like hvac controls and environmental monitoring.

Time switches are devices that can be programmed to turn on and off at specific times, allowing growers to set up automated schedules for their grow room equipment. This can be especially useful for lighting control, as plants have different light requirements depending on their stage of growth. Time switches can also be used to turn off equipment when it is not needed, saving energy and reducing costs.
