How to maintain perfect CO2 levels easily
With the Pro-Leaf Controller, optimising CO2 levels is as easy as it can be. Plug it in to a socket, and then plug the CO2 source into Pro-Leaf (a burner or a bottle). The CO2 levels can be monitored and maintained automatically. The Pro-Leaf has a light sensor built-in, which will stop the Pro-Leaf from dosing in dark times. It is an impressive tool that can help to boost your crop yields.
Includes
One CO2 controller (with two-pin connector for CO2 sources)
2 x plugs (2-pin connector for wiring your CO2 source).
1 x CO2 sensor
Assorted Fixings Set for Controller
1 x instruction manual
The Pro-Leaf CO2 controller works
The photosynthesis process is where the plants break down carbon dioxide using the light from the grow lamp or the sun. Carbon is used for the production of essential sugars in plants, and oxygen is produced as an by-product. Growers should focus their efforts on achieving the highest possible photosynthesis rates.
First, ensure the environmental conditions allow for leaf stomata that remain open. After you have a good environment, it is time to take things to another level. Increase the CO2 in the air. The typical CO2 levels in the air are 360ppm. However, plants can tolerate at least 3 times this level without becoming toxic.
Plants are better able to grow when they have more CO2. This is because more CO2 allows them to produce sugars. Sugars speed up growth, and cause fruits to swell. The professional horticulture industry uses CO2 supplements extensively.
The CO2 Sensor and Controller Pro-Leaf are one of the easiest ways to ensure that CO2 levels remain perfect at all times. CO2 dosers used to guess how much CO2 they should add by measuring the room. Pro-Leaf gathers CO2 data via a sensor and doses accurately according to real-time conditions.
You simply need to hang the sensor and connect the controller via a socket, then plug in your CO2 supply. You can then choose the settings you want and go. Pro-Leaf is capable of handling both bottles / regulators as well as gas-powered CO2 Generators.

The Pro-Leaf CO2 controller: How To Use It
The box contains clear and concise instructions. This is an overview.
2) Select your desired PPM setting by pressing the knob on the left.
Then, select the level of deadband by pressing the knob on the right. The deadband is similar to the hysteresis. The deadband determines the maximum deviation you will allow the PPM to deviate from before it is automatically corrected. The unit will react faster if the deadband is smaller.
Select a control mode using the button on the lower right. When you want to increase CO2 with a generator powered by gas, you should select 'PPM up'. If you plan to use CO2 bottles and regulators, 'Fuzzy logic' is the best option. When regulating fans, 'PPM down' will kick in when the CO2 level is too high. Most grow rooms will not use this option, as the main priority is to increase CO2 levels.
The 'Max/Min' function will show you the PPM maximum and minimum levels during your absence. You only need to click on both buttons at the same time.
Keep the digital ballasts at least 2.5 meters away from your controller.
Pro-Leaf is not compatible with a vapouriser that uses sulfur. If you do not take care of your Pro-Leaf, the warranty will be invalidated. You should remove the sensor before using a sulfur vapouriser.
