The unit has digital calibration at the push of a button with calibration fluid to guarantee correct readings consistently and a lit screen for when under dark foliage, plus the added benefits of being water and drop resistant.

Simply place the digital ph meters probe end in to the nutrient solution so measuring the acidity alkalinity in this great hand held device. It is easy to use, waterproof, durable, and reliable. You will need to calibrate your Essentials pH Pen Meter using a Buffer 7 bottle (the meter includes a small pouch). Simply dip your meter in buffer 7, and then hold down the calibration button until the display says CAL. The Essentials pH Meter will then calibrate the device.
