What to Use
Maintaining your system:
Regular Athena Cleanse maintenance will ensure that irrigation systems last longer and work more efficiently. Cleanse is able to dissolve mineral scale, as well as other deposits that have built up in irrigation systems.
Regular use
Regular maintenance can be done with a mixture of 2-5mL water per gallon.
Extreme conditions:
For severe media and reservoir conditions, increase the rate of water to 5-10mL/gallon.
RDWC, Other Recirculating Hydroponics System:
Recirculating and deep water cultivation (DWC), irrigation systems should be treated with Athena Cleanse to remove scale and mineral residue.
Cleanse can be used in DWC systems or recirculating water pumps to break down lower solubility materials, like mineral complexes. Athena Cleanse can solve the problem of mineral buildup and lockout, which are two major reasons for nutrient deficiency.

Mix Media/System Flush:
To reduce the residual mineral buildup, use Athena Cleanse in the final flush phase at 5-10mL/gallon.
