The IWS Flood & Drain System is available in different sizes to suit your needs. Each kit comes complete with a water tank, brain pot with timer, flexi pipe, pots, stands and all the fittings. Clay pebbles and rockwool are the most commonly used medium for this system.
The IWS Flood & Drain System is a highly developed ebb and flow system, which delivers the optimum amount of nutrients at the right time. Controlled to the minute via the high spec timer unit, your plants receive the exact feed they require. No waste and no risk of over feeding or watering. The IWS System standard remote comes with 16mm piping and fittings.

How It All Works ?

The goal is to get oxygen to the roots. IWS Flood & Drain System pumps water-based nutrients directly to plants.

Your roots will get a boost each time you feed them as the water pushes through the medium. The solution is then pumped into the pots at the appropriate times. This allows the plants to breathe and feed. The same solution is pumped into each pot by floats.

After the solution has drained from the pots, fresh air is drawn into the root area. It is then pumped back into the waterbutt to rebalance the pH and EC. Roots are more productive because they receive fresh, oxygen-rich oxygen at each feed.

This grow system is very draining. It is therefore important that you increase your feeds to keep the plants healthy.
