The DimLux Expert Series 1000W DE EL UHF is a complete fixture including the Alpha Optics reflector.
This reflector is designed according to the Single Bounce Clear Sight (SBCS) principle and is equipped with Miro Silver mirrors. As a result the highest possible efficiency (98%) of all available horticulture reflectors is achieved.
Provided with adjustable side reflectors for better overlap and to minimise wall losses. Due to the open design of the reflector the lamp is passively cooled which is a benefit for the life and efficiency of the lamp.
There is a 50mm socket on the reflector which can be used to significantly reduce the room temperature by actively extracting the air.
There are also optional add-on reflectors available which be placed to minimise the wall loss even more.
This Dimlux Expert Series 1000W DE EL UHF features diagnostic LED's, an easy accesible on and off switch and an infinitely variable control via the Maxi Controller with no rush current when used with it. The Dim button comes with 7 dimming modes, off mode and the capability of Ultra-High frequencies.
This reflector is replaceable.

We recommend that these units be used in combination with the Dimlux Maxi Controller to get the best out of them. This will allow you to eliminate the need for a contactor/timer and can control 160 fixtures using one point. You can also schedule on-off times, regulate output levels according to temperature, or VPD levels (Vapor Pressure Deficit), so your plant temperatures stay in range.

Every Dimlux Expert Lighting System consists a Dimlux Xtreme Ballast with a dazzling and flexible Alpha Optics 98 reflector, a dimlux Xtreme Ballast and a Greenpower lamp - all combined and stored in one heavy-duty unit.

Dimlux Xtreme Ballast offers 7 dimming options, which is significantly more than other products. This allows you to adjust light output precisely to meet the ever-changing needs of your plants. There are two boost options available to generate up to 15% more lumens than the advertised lamp. The Soft Start or Soft Off feature protects the product from sudden power surges and ensures your safety.

The Xtreme Ballast uses superior electronic technology and operates quietly and efficiently. This will help you save money on your energy bills. The Xtreme Ballast is fireproof. It has a processor that monitors the ballast-to lamp connection. An LED display informs you about the current status and cuts power if there are any shorts or bad contacts.

A Maxi Controller is recommended if you want to connect your lights to it. It can accommodate 160 units! ), this sensational device will manage them all at once taking into account indicated day/night periods and minimum and maximum heat tolerances, applying even closer control with continuously-variable dimming rather than standard incremental dimming.

Alpha Optics 98 Reflector is made of 98% reflective Miro Silver aluminium. It is designed in an innovative and efficient way. The reflector only allows light waves to hit the mirror-like interior surface once before projecting them downwards over the plants. To minimize overall waste, the light is also kept clear of unwanted and unnecessary interactions with it. Both these aspects are consistent with the Single Bounce Clear Sight principle.

You can adjust the light distribution on both sides by turning the reflector. There are also optional reflectors that stop light hitting floors or walls.

Alpha Optics 98 Reflector's open design allows passive cooling to be achieved, which improves the lamp's efficiency and life expectancy. The unit's 50mm port at the top allows for the extraction of hot air from the surrounding area. This is a clever addition and a standout feature.

Dimlux Expert Lighting Systems include an industry-leading Philips GreenPower lamp. The internal voltage converter in the ballast makes both 600 Watt and 1000W models compatible with 400V lamps via a standard, 230v connection. They ensure a stable and high light output.

The Dimlux Expert Series 1000 Watts:

Professional 400 Volt HPS Lamps are used by growers. They offer a variety of benefits that make them better than standard HPS lamps.

The 400-volt HPS lamp performs better than the standard HPS lamps. The two systems use exactly 1000 watts to operate, but Pro HPS lamps consume more power and run at lower voltages. The 400 Volt Pro HPS lamps will produce at least 10% more light per watt than standard HPS lamps. The HPS Pro lamps look much brighter and cooler when compared side by side. They also produce slightly more light. They also produce a greater yield and plants that are grown below a 400 Volt HPS have a better chance of surviving heat damage.

This system operates by supplying mains power at 230 V to both the ballast and reflector through a regular mains power lead. After converting the mains power to a special lamp, the ballast drives the Philips Master GreenPower Plus 400 Volt/1000 Watt lamp. Because the distance between the ballast and the lamp is so short, virtually no power gets lost via the connecting cable.

The 400 Volt/1000 Watt Pro HPS Philips master greenpower plus lamps last longer than regular HPS lamps in terms of efficiency and light output. They will last for at least one year before needing to be replaced. You should note that the 400 Volt Pro HPS lamp and normal HPS lamp are not interchangeable with other ballasts. Use standard HPS lamps only with digital or traditional 230 Volt ballasts. Only 400 Volt ProHPS lamps can be used with lighting systems that have a 400 V Pro HPS ballast. The HPS EL mark on 400-volt Pro HPS lamps will identify them.
