The GAS EC Speed Controller: How it Works

When growing indoors, it is important to control the fan speed. It's important to lower your intake airflow when cold weather hits. This will allow you to adjust the background heating in your grow rooms (from heaters and grow lights) to make up for it. You can do the same for summer heat, when outside temperature can cause havoc in your indoor environment. This is where turning the fans up to their maximum level can be helpful in keeping indoor temperatures within a safe range. Global Air Supplies' GAS EC Fan Control Controller regulates the speed of two EC fans using the adjustable control knobs.

The EC Speed Controller can be plugged directly into fans that have active cables from Systemair (Systemair EC cable with white connectors). The active cables provide power to the device so that it doesn't require a separate supply. The controller is small and compact, but it's very cost-effective.
